New Year New You !
The new year for me has always been a time of self reflection and planning for the future. As far as fitness goes im thinking, “Did I reach out to as many people as I could to promote the healthy way of life and did I put as much as I could in each article?”….. you know stuff like that. Then I start planning on making improvements during the new year. This is the technique I want you to utilize in planning your program for the 09 version of yourselves. I want you to think about how your lack of health and fitness impacted your 08. Did it send the wrong message to the person who interviewed you for that job or did it prevent you from making it to the job interview in the first place? Keep it real with yourself and ask the tough questions. Then I want you to write down what you plan to do about it for 09. The main causes for being overweight are overconsumption, excess refined foods and sugars in the diet, reduced activity levels, and negative family influence. Write down a step for each one of those issues and stick to it. I promise as a result of your increased health every other area of your life will improve. Trust me, if you approach it like this you are going to win. By 2010 22 percent of all girls and 19 percent of all boys will be obese in the U.K. How will this impact their future ? How will this impact your future? I’m not saying you have to be 6 percent body fat Im just saying you need to be in good enough shape to take advantage of all of what life has to offer! This is our time so let’s seize the moment! Get in shape. Document your journey and I will feature you on my website and in New Nation so you can inspire others!
